Bernadette Floyd has the perfect life. A successful model/actress. Her husband Robert 'Bob' Floyd wants her to have nothing less than what she deserves. She can't just pick up her life and move whenever he gets sent on a special mission. Except this mission. The drive to get to San Diego is a good 12 hours which gives the two of them time to reflect on their lives together.
