But there's something lurking in the shadows that could put M's life and everything she loves at risk. **UNEDITED** (Please excuse any grammatical or spelling errors, these are completely accidental and do not reflect my writing and English skills) If you read the story, I'll love you forever, except I won't because that would be just a little bit creepy. Please leave me a comment somewhere if you believe this story should be rated mature. I'm not entirely certain myself. The first of 'The Misfortune' trilogy.Complete

Glimpse (Completed)
I feel something slam into me, knocking the breath from my lungs. Only it is not the car that hits me; it is a person. He takes the brunt of the fall, rolling under me so that my face does not brush the street, but the force of the impact knocks me out of his arms and I skid across the asphalt into the grass. The car speeds past, flying down the road before disappearing on a turn. I wait in agony until my lungs finally work, and then I roll onto my back and gasp for air. "Are you okay?" Liam's voice is frantic as he crawls toward me. He cups my face in his hands and checks my body for injuries. This time I know I am not imagining things. There are dark wings coming out of his back. I sputter a few fragmented sentences before I can get the words out. "What are you?"Complete

Slice of (magic) Life
Axle has known magic his whole life. Not the kind of magic from stage acts and swindlers on the streets, the kind that was used in secret, under the cover of lies and facades. Magic that, when found out by regular non-magic civilians, will be mercilessly sought out and destroyed if they weren't able to use it for themselves. This was his father's warning. But even when kept a secret, danger lurks ever so closely and Axle had to find a way to stop it all on his own... Or did he? Elaine knew she wasn't the only one. She had this feeling that there were others in her high school that did what she could do: real magic. Just when she was mustering up the courage to ask someone else that she thought was like her, danger strikes her school. A danger that she felt was related to her magic. She knew she had to do something about it. Should she deal with the threat alone like she usually faced everything else in her life? Or will she finally confront her suspicions about a certain boy from her school that she was sure had magic like her? ------------------------------------------------------- Huuuge thank you to the user @rainhither for creating this beautiful cover. You're the best!! This is an original story by me. The characters from this work are part of a different, but same universe, original novel I am currently writing. However, the main story of this universe will not be published here (at least that's my decision for now.) since I plan to publish/self-publish that work. Thanks for reading all the way to the end and I hope you like it!Complete![Those Who Return at Dawn - Book 1 - Lord of Thymos [Romantic fantasy]](https://img.wattpad.com/cover/400177625-256-k264469.jpg)
Those Who Return at Dawn - Book 1 - Lord of Thymos [Romantic fantasy]
"There were many legends and stories about werewolves and vampires, dragons and elves, spirits and demons, but why couldn't he find any record about a being who lived, yet seemed not to exist in this world? Was this ritual dangerous? Summoning demons? Sacrificing his soul? Luther closed his eyes tightly. Deep down, he knew what his decision was. He needed an answer to his fifteen-year-long question." This is the story of two boys who awaken their divinities (a reaper and a sun god.) One was born with everything. The other lost the only few things he had. What will happen when the Flow of Destiny intertwines their lives? This is a story about salvation and being saved, about life and death, about exploration and adventure, about kinship, friendship, and love. Follow Luther and Aaron as they wander through the boundless Cosmos; strolling the magical market Mariana, diving into the silent depths of the Tranquil Sea, riding the Orion Express under starlit skies, visiting Sicily the city of blossoms and fruit, travelling the Heart of the Cosmos, crossing the wilds of Anasia, climbing the Tower of Tomorrow, and countless other realms where wonder never ends. What to expect: - OP MCs. - Fantasy worlds/food/species ... - Found family. - Slice of life. - Lots of cozy moments, yet the stakes are still there. - Slow burn romance (Strangers to friends to family to lovers, oblivious x oblivious.) - Cute pets. Imagine a blend of Harry Potter (a hidden magical world in a modern setting) and Percy Jackson (Descendants of Greek Gods) with a Ghibli vibe. Though told through young eyes, I hope this tale may also be read as a fairytale for grown souls: a heart-warming and wholesome adventure, with a hint of darkness and a pinch of sadness. Warnings: - Gay. No sexual content. - The story takes references from Greek mythology, Dante's Inferno, and Ars Goetia, but will add, remove, and modify many different details. Please consider this as an alternate universe.Complete
