Sakura blamed the blonde for it. Naruto took it the hardest. He made sure to prove the pink haired girl wrong. He was supposed to be banished but it was then that Hiruzen revealed his heritage. He became cold, distant and more importantly, smarter than ever. Made a promise to his late friend/Brother to find out the truth as to why Itachi killed his clan, Exposing the corruption of the council.

It was then along his travels he found an unlikely hotheaded Kumo-nin whom he can share his sorrows and happiness to. How will this turn out?
