"I told you I'd tear down this school to find you," she hears his footsteps get closer, "and look where you are, completely and utterly under my control," he stops in front of her as tears leak down Alanis's face, petrified of what will happen next.
Tom crouches down in front of her, the girl then feeling his hand snake under her chin and lift it up. She looks into his face, one she had thought she'd grow to like but now only reminds her of the people he's killed and his true identity.
"It's alright, you're not in trouble. All that matters now is that you're here with me," Alanis glares into his eyes, but all she sees staring back is a love-sick psychopathic killer.
