The end of the universe is at stake due to a genocidal planet conqueror named Thanos. And the Avengers don't know if they can handle it. Especially since one of their strongest members, Hulk, could not beat him.

Meanwhile, taking a break in New York from their road-trip. Ben Tennyson is currently enjoying New York style pizza completely free of mushrooms. 

Well, he was, that is until an unconscious man went flying passed him away from a being that looked a lot like Squidward.
