Rowan Bloom never attends parties. She didn't like the loud music, or the drunk bodies slamming against each other as she tried to weave her way through dancing crowds.

It wasn't her thing, but then again, she doesn't really have a choice.

She couldn't avoid the red envelope sitting on her coffee table while she walked around their messy apartment, waiting for an excuse to pour from her bones as she remained in deep thought.

But nothing came, and she definitely had to go; even if it was just an album release party.
