Her eldest, Childe, has specifically requested a man to marry. And many of the other nations have rejected too. So she takes it up and anxious Zhongli gets sent to Snezhnaya to marry Childe. But Zhongli is also holding a secret that can endanger the possibility of marriage as a whole. And what happens when a princess of a neighbouring kingdom plans to sabotage the whole wedding?

Childe is returning to Liyue and Zhongli has something important to ask him. However, when a rather cheerful, but very much dead Childe shows up in Zhongli's living room, plans have to be placed aside. When the pair turn to Hu Tao for advice, she suggests that in order for Childe to pass onto the next realm, he must first let go of all unfinished business tying him to the mortal realm. Of course, this is easier said than done when a stubborn Harbinger insists he is perfectly at peace with the life he has led.
