The night everything changed for her was the night she had lost everything that mattered to her. A prison where she will live out her days turning brainsick until her 18th birthday when she will receive the same fate as her family and be liberated of her insanity.
Nearly two years after her incarceration, Clarissa is merely two weeks away from her death sentence when something drastically changes-One hundred delinquents are chosen to be sent to the ground to test its habitability for the first time in ninety-seven years. A new chance at life and a taste of freedom is all it takes for Clary to risk it all. Confused, scared and a little excited, with a shocking surprise awaiting her, it's up to Clarissa to decide how to go on from there. Do whatever the hell she wants or learn how to survive.
