You could say that today was not a good day. But you'd be lying. Because I know that there will never be a day as bad as what I went through today. I mean it started off ok. Sports studies and R.E were good, maths was not as bad as usual. But then came English. It's one of my favourite lessons actually. Walking into the lesson, late as usual, I nodded at my best friends and settled down to work. But no sooner had I written the title, there was a knock at the door. As our teacher opened it, in walked two men in uniform. Police. My heart went cold, I'd always felt weird around them. In hushed voices, they whispered to our teacher and immediately her face went pale. Her eyes glistened, but with tears not happiness. Her pupils grew larger than I thought it was possible, and they started to shake. Then I realised how I knew this. She was looking at me. Panic rose through my body, and everyone followed her gaze to see my trembling statue. I must have looked a mess.

The first time I walked into a bank I had a cold and I sneezed, I mumbled something about slobber coming from my mouth but a person near misheard and thought that I said robber and everyone went into freak out mode. In the third grade I walked in on my teacher and the principal, she gave me A’s for the rest of the year despite my reluctance. She wouldn’t believe me when I said that I would forget anything ever happened – and believe me I wanted to forget it. My whole life has been a mix of bad luck, misfortune and lots and lots of awkward moments. And by the looks of things, my lifestyle wasn’t about to change. Once again I’d stumbled my way into something; little did I know just how big this seemingly small occurrence would turn out to be.
