Once upon a time demons and humans waged war upon another as the human race faced extermination the king of demons fell in love with a human bride thus creating a treaty, but not just any treaty. The treaty declares that for every King that is chosen by the demons he must choose a human bride, no demons may harm the humans by any physical form but in return the humans must pay tribute to the new chosen king by choosing one female from every house set to be presented before the king where he will choose his bride. However if the treaty is not fulfilled by the 5th year of the new kings reign the treaty becomes null and void and demons will once more become free reign upon the humans.

Calysta a courageous girl who had became a servant in her own home. When time for the tribute comes Calysta is chosen to be presented before the king. Most girls feel that becoming the demon kings bride is a death sentence.
