Dr. Asante Argueta's life is the model of control and order. From her meticulous San Francisco apartment to there flawless career as an accomplished heart surgeon, everything is as it should be. 

So when her wealthy bypass patient makes a large donation, to her department, Asante doesn't question the invitation to an elaborate celebration in her honor. But in a blur, she is taken against her will from the party, only to awaken in a mental health facility.

As the mysteries of her tragic childhood unfold, a hidden world of miraculous abilities, secret factions, and the power of the Now are revealed. But dark forces are determined to bury these revelations with Asante's demise.

To save her life and the fate of the world in her hands, Asante must unlock the door to human potential and deliver the keys into the heart of humanity.


This is the edited and final version of TORN. I wrote this story on Wattpad in 2017/18 and Self Published at the end of 2018. I never uploaded the final product here to the community that made it all possible. Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoy!
