Sky is a college student with a curse. She can see how, when, and where people will die. All she has to do is touch their hands and then she gets a vision of their end. Since she was a child, the curse has made her life a nightmare. She saw the death of every family member before it happened. She tried to tell her mom about it, but she brushed it off. Days later, Sky's mom died exactly how she saw in her vision. With every similar encounter, people started to believe Sky is doomed and evil. Left all alone, with no mother, no father, and no siblings, She moved out of her hometown. She swore to never let that happen again. She promised herself to never intervene in people's lives again. In order to do so, she decided to never let her hands be uncovered. She started wearing hoodies and gloves even during summer.
In college, no one talked to her. She wanted that to happen. Until she met a certain dark-haired man, and then everything changed. He was different.
Will she break her promise for him? Is she capable of loving him no matter the truth she hides? Can she run away from her past?
It all started with a superhero, one who vowed to help save the world and use her powers for good....But how can one keep a promise if they don't remember making it?
What happens when the lines to right and wrong blur? When promises have to be broken? When the one thing you thought you could never lose, your morality, comes into question.
What happens when the only person in the world that understands you is the person you believed was evil. But a reputation can be fabricated, evidence can be tampered and memories can be manipulated.
How does one decide who's good and who's bad? Who's the hero and who's a villain? Maybe the only real difference between the two is a change in perspective or perhaps keeping an open mind.
Sometimes even a "Villain" has a good side and even a "Hero" has a bad one...so what would happen if they were to see eye to eye?....Who would be there to pull them from the deep end?...or maybe the high tide is exactly where they want to be.
