My Enemy? (O/C x Jinx) by Shadowofthemind

(I ain't used to writing fanfics since this is my first one, thought I'd branch my genres out a little. I only know the Arcane storyline and not the game itself, so if I screw up please forgive me. The story itself mainly follows Echo and I've also kind of diverged to form my own second season in a way.) After the countless fatalities on the bridge connecting Zaun and Piltover, we follow a boy who never had a name but people called him Echo because of his tendency to repeat himself or others from time to time. He does get confused with 'Little Man' Ekko every now and then but neither of them mind it, they'd occasionally joke about it from time to time. Echo, though, was basically a fighter the day he was born. His parents, sadly, died when he was 8, two years before the bridge massacre. Since then Vander, his adoptive father, has been caring for him and helping him improve his fighting technique. That was the case until that one fateful night everything changed. (I don't own any of the characters, art or pictures nor do I claim to own them except for the o/c in particular. The cover art is by mermaii_ on Instagram.)

She's rude and disrespectful, but somehow well-liked though her god-awful reputation. She'd break all the simple to complex rules, she'd bring her skateboard inside the school, she'd talk back to teachers, not do her work, and do almost anything she could get her twisted mind to wrap around. Caitlyn, a girl from the world above, Piltover. She was very well-liked and known around the school as the "know it all, straight A student", if you need help with anything, you go to her. She's the daughter of counselors, hardly anyone touches her in fear of them, but she's still picked on despite everything. She's the good, perfect girl, she's either loved or completely hated, no in between. When these opposites meet when anyone, including people from the city below, become allowed to go to school with the "normal" kids, they slowly start developing feelings for each other, they don't know what to do. WARNING: this story will have smut in it, so if that makes you uncomfortable I suggest this isn't the story for you.

Unfortunately, it happened accidentally, and just as Vi had learned her sister was seriously ill, and was finally starting to get through to her. To make things even worse, she then learns from Caitlyn that her sister will almost certainly be sentenced to death. But Vi isn't ready to give up on her sister so easily, especially not because of some topside laws. Besides, it's just concrete walls keeping Jinx in, and... she doesn't call Vi Fat Hands for nothing... This book took me WAY longer to write than I thought it would. I published a preview book for it as the second Arcane work I put out, and four books later, here it is. Better late than never, I guess. I hope you enjoy it. If you want to read the preview book first, it's called, "Intruder (Vi + reader) ". Content Warning: Visceral depictions of mental breakdowns, PTSD flashbacks, physical violence.
