The Flames (Not Continuing)

Summer, a teenage girl, has recently discovered that she is a part of something bigger than she's ever known. She was marked by people of the future, and has been blessed with the ability to withstand futuristic threats to human existence. Though where power lies, so does people who want to abuse it. They are referred to as, "The Shadows", and they are out to eliminate anyone who holds power such as theirs. Then there is the government, who are hunting down this special people, like Summer, to run tests on them. What can she do? More importantly; what will she do, when a group of teens like her offer their help?
