Etsuko is thirteen and plays tennis. Like her older brother Eiji, she plays acrobotic tennis. But she's better at it than him. She's more flexible and has more stamina. She's been practicing her entire life ever since she first held a racket in her hand at the age four. She's lived in Paris for two years and finally goes back to Japan. She then starts school at Seigaku and meets the regulars and reunites with her brother Eiji, hoping they don't find out what happened in Paris while she finds her love.
