Rowan hated his life. At 7 years old, his parents didn't love him and he was abused everyday. It was faith that Tanner, a bubbly kid who's visiting his aunt in Oregon, runs into a crying Rowan. Every summer, the two meet at the same honeysuckle flower bush. And every year, the two get closer. It seems that Tanner is the only person who Rowan can open up to. The two form a special friendship over the years. Just friends. Nothing more. Or so they think.
