What Does it Mean to be a Hero? || DDVAU || Scarian
This story starts right after chapter 15 of Double Hearted by Kitsuneisi on Tumblr. Cover art was also created by Kitsuneisi. After Grian is released from the hospital things aren't the same between Hotguy and Cuteguy. Hotguy trying to make up for his mistakes leads to an unexpected discovery that could change the lives of mutants everywhere, and changes his relationship with Grain and Cuteguy. They grow closer as the world around them changes. This is also my first fanfiction in 5-6 years I want to note that I am a physically disabled man myself and an ambulatory wheelchair, cane, and brace user, so a lot of what I write in this about experiencing disability is based on my own personal experiences. I, however, do not have a neuromuscular condition like Scar and this will definitely not be accurate to his real condition.

It's the start of the second semester in school and Grians already done with it. The classes are stressful, friendships are rough, and being the only openly gay kid takes a toll. That is until he meets a unique brunette named Scar. Scars perspective on school is completely different. He sees new opportunities and beginning rather than chaos and stress. But Scars love for love is not exactly met, all his friends are in relationships except him and it's get lonely. However It feels like that might change with the blonde he met named Grian. Scars To Your Beautiful - A Scarian/Desert Duo Fanfiction (highschool AU)
Grian is a simple Avian living day to day with his abusive mother and love for art. Scar is an Earth Elf who was bullied for his scar and desperate to make a friend. When these two meet, they form an unbreakable bond with each other. But they both still have their own darkness forged by years of trauma - in the past, and now, in the present. As they grow closer, they must navigate all forms of obstacles; some that bring them closer, others that try and push them apart. As they start to feel something more than friendship, they must figure out how to cope with each other's problems and forge past people intent on ruining their lives. A highschool AU! GUYS STOP READING THIS 😭😭😭 The setting is set in season 7. A prank goes wrong, and many people get injured, but Grian gets the most out of it. Scar helps him recover, and realizes he has feelings for Grian. will Grian feel the same way, or will he not forgive Scar for what he's done? Not my art!
