He parties all night with his friends and takes a bunch of polaroids of their last night together, he gets home eventually and checks his soul-watch. A watch everyone is given at age 10, a watch that shows you how many years until you meet your soulmate. 22 hours and 5 minutes. He falls asleep with anticipation and with the Polaroid in his other hand. And wakes up 9 hours later, and suddenly he's a man out of time.
