our main character is a boy named Ethan, an average guy with a average life. he attends Royale High, a high school for Royals, fairies, mermaids, you name it!
his best friend, Jaxon, also goes there. they're connected at the hip, and are inseparable. Jaxon is openly a homosexual man, and is full of pride.
Ethan, on the other hand, is in the closet, as he's scared of rejection.
we also have Tori, the lesbian friend. she's very close with Ethan, much to Jaxon's distaste, as he's still assuming Ethan's still straight.
will they be able to work out their differences, and be more than friends? or will Ethan's fear or rejection eat him up inside?
"You're different from what I expected," she said softly.
"How so?" he asked, glancing at her.
"I don't know," she replied, searching for the right words. "You just... have this way of making people feel like they matter. Even here, in this... nightmare."
He was quiet for a moment before responding. "You matter, Y/n. Don't forget that."
OR
Y/n wakes up in the deadly Squid Game, surrounded by strangers and fighting to survive. What she doesn't know is that the mysterious Frontman is watching her every move through the cameras- and she's caught his attention.
