Howls Eve

King Oliver, while the name is not the most impressive he is a good man. After over throwing his father at the age of 21 he has worked to reform the werewolf hierarchy. The king is seen as progressive and fair and is approved of by most werewolf packs. The Packs who don't approve of him are the ones that still follow old traditions.

Two of the biggest traditions that he had done away with is the Sacrifice of a female wolf to the moon goddess and the rejection of mates if they have two low of a status. The pack that has given the biggest push back to the banishment of these traditions is the Night pack. Night pack is notorious for being strict in gender roles and traditions. They never have had a care for who it harms because to them its what they view is right.

Growing up in the Night Pack as the children of the alpha both Angelica and her twin brother Thomas have greatly disapproved of their fathers enforcement of these tradition even when they became illegal. Living under strict watch and rules Angelica tried her hardest to live a life of joy and freedom but she was constantly pushed back and talked down too when ever she tried to do something she generally wanted to so. The Night pack also looked down on both Angelica and her mother giving them harsh criticism.

An old tradition that still stands is the royal balls. In the past the balls were only used for the rich and high ranking male wolves to meet and become aquatinted. But now King Oliver has invited the high ranking wolves and their families, including women which in the past was greatly frowned upon.

At this fated ball fate will meet two wolves.
