"Once the nations have reached physical maturity, they can have children, but in the same way humans do. Male nations can't get pregnant- at least not naturally. Female nations have a hard time getting pregant, and an even harder time carrying the pregnancy to term, meaning pregnancy losses are very, very common. And if they do manage to get pregnant, they don't show physical signs of pregnancy, but rather symtoms occasionally. If they are born, the children are almost always sickly and don't live past eleven, let alone make it to adulthood. They never grow past the age of twelve, but can live for hundreds of years. In every other aspect, they are human. And Spain looks after every single child. He does it for free, and he loves children so much, they all have a great life. Personified US States and Federal District
So this was an idea I've had for a while now concerning the capital and states. I started out with Alaska, then moved to New York and it just snow balled from there. This book will start with Delaware, end with Hawaii and will put D.C. in middle with the rest of states from the 1700s. And if anybody wants to create fan art for them feel free to do it and if you want your art displayed here, I'll make a separate book just for the art. Please be mindful of the fact that these are my ideas on how they all look and act. Before anybody gets on me about Pennsylvania, I've read other stories where Penn is albino and can switch from acting like Prussia to Austria and back again with either a trigger word or song. I've done it so that even though Penn mainly acts like Austria, he will switch to Prussia if AND only when the family is being seriously threatened. The only countries who know about the capital and the states are as follows: 1. Russia, Ukraine, Belarus- reason is because of the purchase of Alaska back in 1867 and that New York decided to follow his grandma to meet this new potential sibling 2. Lithuania- we all know that he lived with Alfred for a time, so he one day literally ran into Alaska and from there meet the 50 of Alfred's children 3. Prussia- two words people VALLEY FORGE, it was not a good winter that year at all 4. She has an older sister with mental health issues and an older brother whom she used to confide in but he moved away and barely visited and talked to his family. This only made the girl's life worse. Her childhood friend and neighbor, Gilbert stopped talking to her as much when he started middle school, but she still hung out with Ludwig. Her mother was always stressed between being a single mom and dealing with her sister. So the girl used her studies and books as an escape method from the real world. Finding out about the personification at a gala no less....... who would of guessed America had a personification, and a woman one at that.
