Ezaroth is a young and powerful witch in the Darkblink coven, but despite her mystical talents she is plagued with immense emotional instability. She strives to become her coven's next Hecate, a sacred leadership role that she's been pining for her whole life. Zaesha, the coven's current Hecate isn't willing to relinquish the role to Ezaroth, however. The two women form an agreement in order for Ezaroth to prove her competence. She leaves the coven to serve under the reign of the authoritarian chief Kalthustra, who rules the continent.
