When two worlds fell into war all because of one girl. 

One was known as Althea, a place with no limits and magic with inhabitants known as Altheans. The other world was a place built off of logic and technology with inhabitants known as humans. This war that occurred over 1,500 human years ago all came to an end because of an unknown individual, that managed to drive out the humans by uniting the Altheans. Once they were driven out the link connecting the two worlds was destroyed, but was the link truly gone?

Remnants of the link still linger in the human world and Rue stumbles into it.  After escaping a place that she had no recollection of, Rue discovers that her speed, strength, and senses have all been heightened.

Upon reaching Althea, she meets an Althean boy who takes her in and continues to help her regain her lost memories, while struggling with the pressure of his own curse. What started as a friendship, Rue and her new found friend got more than what they bargained for when Rue is discovered, and their bond is tested. 

Word of a human in their world spread fast, and soon enough the unknown individual that was now known as the Sovereignt knew as well. Forced to go into hiding, they soon wind up at the wrong place at the wrong time and are caught up with two other strangers. This leads Rue and her friend to going on a journey with the others in an attempt  to get to the Resistance Base on the outskirts of Althea. Along the way Rue was slowly regaining her once foggy memories, but from the bits of pieces that she has seen the girl finds herself not wanting them back.
