George and Dream get to know each other, despite them both disliking each other. They later learn they have more in common then they thought. __ His breath was hitched, Dream's eyes were glossy. He'd never seen this much emotion from him. Dream pulled George into a light hug, George cringed at the touch. Dream immediately let go and mumbled a quick, "Sorry" then continued, "Sit down." Dream said in a raspy, quiet voice. Handing George the hoodie. George sniffed and walked over to the bed, wiping his nose.

On the run with his best friend, Sapnap, and finding things he wasn't supposed to, George isn't sure what to do anymore. He quickly learns that not everything is what it seems. After being humiliated in front of the whole school for being gay, the popular boy named Clay decides to stand up for him. Clay, suffering from diabetes with abusive and not supportive parents, does everything to help George get rid of the bullies while struggling a lot himself. The two start getting closer and closer until Clay starts realising he's more similar to George than he expected to be, wanting to be closer to him every day.
