Dan Howell is part of the infamous popular group at school. Even though Dan resents having to be in it, he can't leave due to the group's leader, and Dan's ex-bestfriend, Chase Harrison, who blackmails Dan into staying. However, when the school's new kid and Chase's group new target, Phil Lester, shows up, Dan's opinion on everything changes, and his world is flipped upside down. There aren't many chances for Dan to try and make everything right, but he'll use everyone that he has got.
