A spring green valle, with a warm glow on the horizon. The smell of the early morning dew in the air from the light mist that glided along the surface of the calm cool grass. Raven went to check up on stables. There in the last stall was the only shire out of ten hobbies. Her coat was a dark charcoal gray with almost a shimmering highlight of blue. Raven had found her when she was only eleven years old and had wandered off into siren territory in the old cemetery which was somewhere in the the endless expanse of eerie woodland with no given name, only known as siren territory, which was located towards the farther end of the west side of the great expanse of lively land that spread out as far as the naked eye could see. Past the stream which spread out into a vast lake in the northeast end of the valley. The mare's name was Crow. Although actual ravens and crows do not get along, these two did. Crow did not allow anyone besides her and younger children of the village to approach. Crow never seemed to grow much older, she's always been mare in young adult age. At least for a horse. The other horses were all colts and fillies. Crow deep dark brown eyes followed as Raven approached...

"Who's out there?" One of the men yelled. Of course only silence met them. I remained quiet and waited for the group to start moving again. "Maybe it was just an animal." Someone whispered. The person, who I assumed was the captain of the small squad, signaled for them to walk again. They clearly showed fear as they kept going; brandishing their weapons to guard themselves with. "Two are holding lanterns. I'll tell you when you're too close to them." I heard my friend whisper in my ear. I followed the men as I picked up another branch and waited for the right time to break it. They continued to walk through the forest, turning their heads in every direction as if an animal might lunge at them and rip their throats out. I guess in a way I was going to do that. "Go back a few feet." My friend whispered. I carefully distanced myself from the group and waited. "Where is she?" I quickly snapped the stick as soon as he finished asking the question. They stopped and two soldiers raised their lanterns to shine its light in the darkness. I quickly hid behind a tree before both of them turned where I was. A low frustrated growl came from one of the men, "The girl's playing with us. She's out here following our every move." How paranoia can cloud the mind. At nine years old, Silver decided to leave her village for the forest. Since then, she's been hunted; everyday is a fight for her life, every breath she takes could be her last, but she's determined to stay alive. Her life isn't the kind anyone would want to live but she's managed to survive this long so, what's a few more years?

I am just about to turn around and head down the alley toward the street when I see two shadows step away from the wall a little farther down from where I am standing. I can't see any features, but I can guess from their statures that they are both men. I don't know what species they are though, but given that they just witnessed me kill a vampire I decide it's time to get the hell out of here. At least they aren't blocking my path to the street. Just as that thought crosses my mind, I hear the back door to the club open and close. I don't want to take my eyes off the men in front of me, but I have to see who just walked out. To assess the new danger. Before turning to look though, I pull out my remaining weapon also hidden in my boot. A silver dagger. It's only really good for killing werewolves, but it can do some damage to other supernaturals too. I give the figures in front of me one last look, they haven't moved at all, and then glance behind me. My breath stops for a moment, and it feels like my heart stops along with it. *** Willow is a witch who hunts down and kills other supernaturals. After the Great Massacre of the Wiccan Community, their population had been decimated. So while they try to rebuild their population and plan their revenge, they take out as many supernaturals as they can. But everything changes for Willow when she meets Keaton, Everett, Aizen, and Devlin. *** *This is a fantasy reverse-harem romance novel. It will have mature themes, including but not limited to, violence, sexual themes, sexual scenes (including light BDSM), abuse, and mentions of rape. Started: August 29th, 2018 Ended: July 31st, 2019 As another year has started at Vale, new challenges have naturally blossomed in their own right. Between Kelpie overpopulation, Elven treaties, and the discovery of a new worldwide threat, the Shifting Clans have been thrown off balance. Chieves have been at each other's throats. Little has been heard of the mysterious Crevan in the months since their Quest and the team so involved in the discovery of this threat has been shoved to the side, out of harm's way. New teachers who drink coconut water and dragons who are very disinclined to let go of a gold point wedge their way into normal life at Vale along the the Warriors of Death themselves. Vale seems a small world in comparison with the wide array of Dark Alleys in Gyanganj, with shady sellers of the mysterious corrosive drink Squm. Shifters are brought before the Foxfire Council's Summer Solstice Meeting, where they learn their fate. While the year starts off with a bang and a boom, Team Jade must stay content with their seemingly easy Quest. But while things seem to be going well, a song is calling their names. Learning the difference between Mermaids and Sirens is crucial in the game of musical chairs. But when a song as beautiful as the Siren's is heard, nothing else matters. Let the waves take you for the Sirens are singing for your blood.
