Running from our future
Centuries ago this was a great planet, now it's a husky shadow of its former beauty. Though the remnants of its former magic still linger it was destroyed by power hungry scientists. More tests to make more technology to go further, faster more this more that. Boom It all went up in flames, radiation spilled out into South America from the global power station in Brazil. The nuclear plant 15 times that of Chernobyl blew its top. The initial explosion flattened Brazil and the shockwaves were felt from the Florida keys. But the thing that truly ruined the world was the nuclear fallout. it rained down everywhere turning the world into a desolate wasteland deserts for miles and miles. Now you live in districts to survive, but what's the good in just being a number. Why would you look forward to a future of infant nothing, can you run from that? Where would you go? Where have the people who have escaped gone? Is that a future? What if there's someone who got left behind? After the first five chapters all chapters are 1000+ words, so no itty bitty update chapters. Ongoing-regular updates

The First in the old Series! As the 21st century continues, Mankind is completely unaware of a whole other world that shares the planet with them. A world deliberately concealed for both of their sakes. A world mankind has forgotten. A world of magic. Citizens of this world are at risk of being discovered every second of every day, as our jets, boats, and even undersea cables run through their lands in the middle of the three major oceans spanning our planet. The only luxury protecting them is their long tradition of remaining forgotten by humans beyond their borders, and their magic making that tradition a reality.
