A book consisting of short stories made up of common frights but there's a happy ending, in which things that are used to scare characters in horror/mystery stories are kind and misunderstood. This of course includes ghosts, basements, the tree knocking on a window, owls staring at a character, feeling stares when nobody is around. All of that good stuff mixed with queer people and relationships. You get it, right?
