Eight teenagers found missing on their sixteenth birthdays. The only clue? The letters BE written on each of their bedroom walls. In their own blood. Eight teenagers, four girls and four boys, supposedly murdered on their sixteenth birthdays. Coincidence? I think not.

I am Natasha Black, and I am one of the Eight. Yes. I was murdered. Well. Kind of. It's complicated.

All I know is that me and seven other teenagers (all of them beautiful, might I add) are trapped in a series of "trials". Seven trials. Eight teenagers. In each trial, one of us has to die until there is only one left standing. I don't know about you, but I don't really agree with those terms. And I plan to do something about it. I am one of the Eight, and I don't even know why I am here...
