All Josey's ever known is a life of struggle. Raising her sister, holding odd jobs, and then getting a new landlord, that has ridiculous rules, just tops it off. She believed things were looking up though, when a close friend begs her to apply for a contract job at the biggest pharmaceutical company around. She ends up landing the job by mistaken identity but has no complaints, that is, until she meets Tarrin, her new boss. With him as the CEO, she's now stuck being the center of his annoyance, and can't even get a day off without some outlandish demand being made. On the night of a full moon, Josey decides to turn her phone off, sick and tired of the CEO's neediness. This eventually ends up exposing Josey to a secret Tarrin has kept hidden, and making him just need her even more.
