"The concept of flying into Rome and going to Pescara, Italy on my own without knowing any Italian, and staying with a family I had never met did come with its own set of fears. But I craved the kind of adrenaline that only comes from exploring on my own. I craved the journey of the new and unknown. The part of my personality that has shaped many of my decisions is my deep fear of being ordinary. That was a force behind not going to college or chasing after a secure job. It haunted me to know that I could die at any moment without allowing myself to live up to my full potential"

This Story Mostly Told from Dante & Aurelia's POV " I wasn't looking for love. Not after Annalisa. Not after what she turned me into. On the outside, I'm still Dante De Luca, cold, controlled, from one of Rome's wealthiest families. But inside? I'm barely holding together the pieces she didn't break. Then came Aurelia. Her laugh. Her eyes. The way she says my name like it means something. She's Annalisa's Best friend. And Worse... she's taken. But when I'm with her... I feel like me again. Not the version everyone expects. Just Dan.. the name only she calls me. She should stay away I should walk away But I can't Because when she looks at me like that I'd set the whole world on fire just to hold her once more. This isn't the kind of love people forgive. It's the kind that burns. But some things... are worth burning for.
