Siobhan (Shivey) Anderson; has had more than enough of her meddling mother trying to marry her off. She honestly believes she hasn't got a maternal bone in her body... doesn't want one, in fact she's rather poke her eye out with a hot poker than have to mate with any of the men her mother tries to set her up with. Besides she's got a growing landscape business and hasn't got time for men, relationships and god forbid... mating!
Taren Wentworth is the new Alpha in town. He's hoping the Pack will leave him to settle in before getting to know them, but finds himself invited to dinner by many Pack member that have single daughters, all of who are willing to do or be whatever it is he needs. After all being mated to an Alpha would have it's perks. But he's done playing the field, and just wants to on with Pack business.
When the two meet Taren realises Siobhan isn't like any of the women he's ever met. She's strong willed, with a mind of her own, runs her own business and for some strange reason wants to avoid him.
