In 1988 the Winter Olympics were held in Canada for the first time. The Dodgers won the world series, Die Hard was released in theaters. U2 released their new experimental album, "Rattle and Hum", Phantom of the Opera opened on Broadway. George Davidson came to Florida for one year of American high school. And Dream begged his mom not to take an exchange student.

"When?" Dream pressed.

"Before I leave," George said with a weak, nervous smile on his face.

"Come ON, George!" They both just laughed, forgetting all their stress and anxieties for the morning, just for a moment.

"I'm excited," George said, confessing it like a secret, a little too hopeful.

"You should be. We're gonna have fun. Now. Go to bed. Senior year starts tomorrow."
