This story takes place in a war-torn world. A place where grief and loss is common, a day where the silence only means the end for those that hear it. Peace wasn't an option, and never will be. This is how many people grew up. This is how many more will die. Chaos and destruction is what leads this world to where it is now, and that is what will destroy it. Many are unable to see past their rifle to those on the other side, blindly following orders, just for the bleak hope of ending it all. But that end will never be near, and it will be an option forever lost.
