An Abrupt Change of Direction

Their biggest trial was not the awkwardness between Maverick and Lieutenant Bradley "Rooster" Bradshaw, or trying to get the new trainees to behave like a team. It actually came from the tension caused by Lieutenant Jake "Hangman" Seresin. Lieutenant Jake "Hangman" Seresin has a reputation for being unstoppable. He's always been the top pilot, so when this new trainer dismissed him, he had to prove her wrong. That is, until he makes a mistake that would change his life and Maddlyn's life forever.
