People's lives move in many different directions. Sometimes we need to fold back into ourselves in order to deal with the changes in our own lives. Poetry is a way for humanity to describe its faults, its flaws, and its mortal beauty. The Olive Tree is a collection of poems made from my own discoveries. They are not perfect, as expected, but I believe that they portray the struggles and passions of the human race, and how my own identity (although hidden in the text itself) plays a part. Enjoy these poems, and remember that all writing, whether poetry or prose, contains the heart of the writer.All Rights Reserved
