Running head first into fire is not something you would assume Harley Martin did for a living.
But yes, It's what she excelled at funnily enough.
When Harley was 15 when her house caught fire leaving scares mentally and physically. But being rescued by a firefighter, it made Harley desperately what to become one. To help someone else who was surrounded by burning flames.
So at 18 Harley enlisted to become a firefighter, only spending 5 months in the academy before being sent to a firehouse to be a candidate.
It's tuff being a firefighter, especially a female one.
After 8 years on the job, 4 of those years as a Lieutenant, Harley became the first female Captain of firehouse 51.
Having to handle with sexist stereotypes and expectations, Harley has her work cut out for her.
And to make it worse her two Lieutenants are in a full out war.
