"Keep walking and she dies." Tam answered coldly, pressing the knife harder against her neck. Lilian leaned her head back instinctively, a small stream of blood trickling down her neck. Tam followed her movement with the knife. Henry took one more step.
"I'm sure we can come to an arrangement.." 'Eighteen... seventeen...' He counted down.
"You're killing her." Tam growled, applying more pressure with the razor-sharp knife. Henry halted. Heather sneaked in without Tam noticing.
"Why are you working for that pyromaniac anyways? He's going to kill you later."
Tam was unfaltering. "Horace might, but he pays well."
