Due to a dept and harsh circumstances, Wei Wuxian is working as a sex worker in a shady brothel run by the Wen family. There is not much to look forward to, but he has one special client that he is always impatiently waiting for. Lan Zhan is his favourite client, ever. 
Much to Wei Wuxian's surprise, Lan Zhan does not seem to want to stay on the level of a client too long and soon, he finds himself and his young son A-Yuan being rescued and taken in by him. Living together slowly goes from being freeloaders to becoming a proper family.
