Bear with me for the first two chapters where there is a lot of similarities to Richelle Mead's original plot. It will be diverging slowly to something completely different.

Dimitri gripped my upper arms and looked into my eyes. It was clear that he was searching my face for something, but I couldn't tell what. Everything in me wanted nothing more than for him to just kiss me at that moment.
