Harry notices Albus is wearing a dark blue sweater with initials on the sleeves that aren't his own and decides he should ask him about it.

This is my own version of the next generation's first year at Hogwarts. I wrote the majority of this story long before The Cursed Child came out, so it does not follow a similar plot line. Albus, Rose, and Scorpius struggle to be friends as they are sorted into different houses. Draco and Harry meet again, and this time, things are different. Scorpius explains how his mother died. Scorpius and Rose are dating, walking hand-in-hand in the corridors and Albus cannot help but feel jealous of the two. The sweltering question was: why was he jealous?
