Elliot Theo has never doubted himself, especially when it came to opinions on people. He knew how to classify and categorise them, stereotyping was his talent. But come senior year, Elliot finds himself jobless and faced with the harsh reality that every mark counts now more than ever. After Totoka Bryant, Queen Bee of Averton West College, gives him an offer he can’t resist, Elliot must fight his loathing of the curly haired bombshell for the sake of a raised math mark and new job. But as he continues to work with Totoka, he finds himself conflicted on his view of not just her, but every one else.
