After World War III sparked, the world was tossed into chaos. Ten years after the ceasefire was called, a new system was suggested and taken on -- the Eligere system.

After the war, depression and devastation sunk in for those that had lived. The ruling systems were all
broken from the fights, and the need for a new one was on the rise, which was where the Eligere come in. The Eligere is an alliance of logicians and ideologists who proposed a new ruling system after the war. They decided that there is no longer the need to live like before – broken up and divided, which
is when they concluded that the world should only be referred and labelled as two, Borealis, the North, and Meridius, the South.

A test known as the Civilian Reviews are set as a mandatory requirement for all when they turn the age of 17, and a confidentiality agreement is sworn by every individual that have taken it. If found broken, the consequences aren't pleasant. These tests are designed for the harmony and peace of the our society, and to ensure a better quality of life.

The test takes about an entire day, and is mandatory for you to sit it on the day of your birthday. A transporter would be sent to your house to pick you up at dawn, and is set to return you by night.

If only I knew that things aren't always as it seems, and 'accidents' are sometimes derived from 'coincidence'.

The world ended long ago, riddled with plague and zombies and destruction. But humanity survived, and humanity evolved. The Infection that helped bring the world to its knees also changed humans in ways to help them keep living in this now broken world ready to be rebuilt. Seven lineages with three strains each, and each have their own unique set of traits that help us survive. But that's not what this story is about-at least, not really. This story isn't about how a hero will rise and bring the world back to what it was Pre-Fall. This story is about me, an ordinary Remanat living life through the world day to day as a mercenary. A beginner mercenary as everyone likes to remind me. The others in my group have been calling me 'Rookie' since I joined them three months ago. I'm beginning to wonder if they actually know my name. We have been hired to help the New Reach Caravan travel across the wastelands to Philly Del Phia, and this is the perfect opportunity to show them that I'm not just a dumb Rookie. I'm actually quite good at my job. I just happen to get distracted by one certain Eight-Ball, but it's not my fault he's good-looking, and charming, and funny... Anyway, all I have to do is help my group get the caravan to Del Phia. Should be an easy enough job. Just avoid the zoms and keep clear of the Raiders, and we should be fine... Right? Disclaimer: I do not own Zombies, Run! or its characters, nor do I own Dystopia Rising LARP. This is just my Rookie's reaction to the Dystopia Rising New Adventure in the Zombies, Run! App.

100 years ago, amidst WW3's nuclear bombing, a deadly virus was released in the atmosphere and nearly wiping out the humanity. It lives inside the human brain thriving on the empathy receptors, leading to irrational behaviour and ultimately brain death. To slow the damage, scientists created L.O.V.E, short for Living Off Vital Emotions, a nanovaccine that numbs the virus and switches off all strong emotions. As a last resort and with a dying planet, the Supreme Government created the City, a place to contain the infected survivors suitable for the experiment. Those in the first stages of illness became ideal candidates to receive the neuroinhibitor. Having their feelings restrained and their memory altered, those who come of age are designated a life partner through a Selection process, thus preserving the humankind. A few decades after the trial had started, scientists had a major breakthrough. The nanites, which are highly chemically reactive organisms, are changing their bio-engineered purpose when dopamine levels are high. With a new generation of nanoids, stronger and smarter to fight the battle, the virus doesn't have a chance. Many attempts were made to create a man-made version of synthetic dopamine and each time the outcome was a disaster. Their goal is to create new generations, immune to the virus. These are called Purebloods, the offsprings of those who find pure love, the only cure to save them from a violent death. Running out of time, the Experiment entered in its final stages. To minimize the threats, the Colonies have sent their best soldiers to oversee the trial and protect its key subjects. If only things were going according to plan, or better...stay hidden. With Iron Guard, the resistance outside the walls, hunting the Purebloods too, will the trial save human race before it's too late? #3 in #dystopianfuture (27.06.2020)

A blank doll with acting and action running in her veins, Freia woke up in a hospital with no memory of what brought her there. Sure, the doctors said a car crash delivered her there, but it didn't feel like it. They said her family's dead but how come Freia didn't feel like that was true? Her very first visitors were her adoptive parents, Fabio and Darlene Hunter. She had four friends that stuck with her ever since she could remember, literally. That is until one who was dear to her was killed, in front of her. Of course, she was devastated. Why would that be a question? One day, Fabio decided to put her into his school filled with students that he specifically chose to be in. Powers unknown to the modern world, sheltered children who only knows the world through TV and non-interactive computers. All of the information comes in that school, but never comes out.
