The universe has seen existence fade. Humanity has been terrorized to the brink that anything supernatural could be as real as the myths. They have been defeated but every time a single soul manages to rise up, a small spark to lead the way into the vast darkness. From the rise of superheroes to the Fall of the Avengers. The darkness has never left them so abandoned, lost in the paths of dangerous beings and threats rising, and seeing those with enhanced abilities scatter and fight like a sudden flicker of light from an igniting spark.

From the collapsing of the Multiverse, terrorists, or the rebuilding of lives that had been lost for five years. New York has seen an invisible creature appear with one eye; Cairo has seen invisible forces destroying the Great Pyramid of Giza and a figure, clad in white, leaving the scene with a trail of bodies. The world is crumbling around them. The vigilantes and heroes aren't fighting against a common threat; around the globe fighting dangers of their own. But a threat is rising. The Ennead is in peril, the gods searching, and the Avatars limited.

The world is in danger, and the Accords have not been forgotten.
