The Staged Affair.

Despite the twinkling success of Ken Peju's sultry fashion design service making a deal with his grandfather Meka threatened to destroy it all. And that meant agreeing to another showdown with his nemesis, the amazing TV host Marie Chin. This time, though, the on-air innuendoes were just dress rehearsals until their hate relationship led them into compassion when they collided, especially when the Network decided to match-make their expertise on a new show to gain more rating and sparks did fly. It didn't take long for a slice of life to happen and Marie's world came crumbling down. She ended up homeless after solely managing the hospital bills of her unfamiliar mother. With the continuous, upsetting pressure from Meka and, the intense nightmares he kept having Ken decided to seek her out and make a win-win deal. The real shocker was that even with the marry me proposal hanging over their heads. There is a terrorist attack creeping into their lives on the verge of old-time revenge because Juan, Ken's Uncle who served in the army killed their father/leader as an undercover right-hand man. There attacks threatened the Peju's Empire and Ken's separate business coupled with Marie's life. Meanwhile, M.J, Marie's mother wakes up from her coma with a secret that also threatened their relationship. Through it all, their relationship was tried, their love was also tested. They came out stronger but they were never the same. Such is life, it is complicated.
