One cold fall morning arose. Sunshine fell through the thick trees, cascading a silhouette of the tall golden branches. Birds chirped in the distance, waking the fellow villagers; wind blew lightly, rustling the leaves and wooden chimes hanging from some canopies. Eerily, it was good weather, and a sweet rhythmic breeze floated throughout the air. Nevertheless, one in particular felt something deep in his gut, rather unsettling. It could've been something he had ate the night before, or just the fact that he had just gotten presumably the love of his life. Surely, it was enforced to be engaged within the tribes by the age of fifteen, The Nu'Lennia people were cultured, and this certain boy of fifteen so happened to be the son of the tribe's leader. Chief, they liked to call it. And because of this, it was even more of an essential duty- to carry on his father's legacy.

14+ COMPLETED!! romantic short story "Loni, please." His voice is so gentle and so longing, I weaken. Swallowing, I finally dare meet his gaze. My fear of disappointment vanishes. "Please say something." "You made me feel special and loved one minute and the next I don't even know if you're alive." "I..I just really needed time and space to figure out you and me and us. " He gently strokes my arm and feel myself weakening by every touch. Right now, I want him more than ever. "Have you gotten it all figured out?" I ask him breathlessly. "Not all of it, but I couldn't stand another second away from you." "Good answer." I lean in and our lips touch. I've missed this, I've missed him. The past weeks have been so confusing for me. Thomas suddenly stopped calling and texting me. He wouldn't answer my calls and texts. I felt used and stupid. Like maybe Steven was right. What was I thinking? I was never really good enough for him. But right now, I know Thomas means what he said. "You wanna get out of here?"Thomas whispers breathlessly, our foreheads leaning on each other. There's something sexy in his voice, something edgy. "Yes, please." (In the editing process :D)h
