Would you co-sign for your friend to have their Dream Car? Dream Home? What about their Dream Spouse? When Nyla signed an affidavit of support, she thought she was helping a friend. But when that friend's marriage falls apart, Nyla is left to feed and support her friend's ex-spouse, and it may destroy the perfect world she built around herself. This new responsibility puts Nyla's own relationship and finances in jeopardy. Now, we will see just how far Nyla will go when her life and happiness are put on the line.

A voice asked. "You'll catch a cold, why didn't you take your jacket?" I spun around, and my eyes locked with Marcus's eyes. "Hey," I said, my voice a little trembling from the cold, and I wrapped my arms across my chest, my shoulders stiffening. I had not expected that it would be so cold. My fingers dug into my sleeves, and I shifted my weight from one foot to the other, trying not to shiver too obviously. Marcus didn't answer right away. He just looked at me for a second, then stepped forward. Silently, he slid off his jacket and placed it over my shoulders, and I ensnared it tighter around me immediately. It was still warm from his body. The inside smelled... citrusy?
