The Tetim Lanali: Elite agents of the Queen and Kingdom of Nairiume, paired for a lifetime of service based on compatibility of skills and souls, a compatibility that often results in unfathomable love and formidable authority.

Born and raised in the country of Berk, Thallian knows everything about sheep and goats and nothing about the Tetim Lanali or the country of Nairiume. He doesn't even know he is a sorcerer until a chance event at the age of sixteen reveals his magic to him. Banished from the household by his father, he must make his way to a foreign land to learn about magic, oblivious to just how much his life is going to change and how far from home his new magic will take him.

Meyrin has never dreamed of being anyone important. Raised in rural Nairiume by his aunts, he has always tried to make himself useful at the inn they run so that they never regret taking him in. He helps with upkeep and hunts for meat to feed their rare guests, often taking time to master his archery skills when there is no work to do. That is, until the day a Wandering pair of Tetim Lanali see him shooting and suggest he apply to join the agents of the crown before he is too old. And so he leaves the only home he's ever known for sixteen years to change his future.

SHIELD AND BOW is a slow burn male/male romance in a world of magic and intrigue.

OF KINGS AND PAWNS

84 parts Complete

Ray is low on time, luck, and hope; his only chance is an artifact that may not even exist. But upon meeting Landon, Ray is beginning to believe he might find all four. ***** Cambions are doomed to tragedy. They are weak, sickly creatures that rarely live to see their twentieth year. Ray refuses to resign himself to that fate. Upon learning of the Crimson Sheath-an artifact capable of preserving his life-Ray is prepared to fight, steal, and kill to get his hands on it. He is not prepared for Landon. Landon is an orphan with no memories of his parents, the only inheritance left to him a dagger, sleeping in a crimson sheath. Though he has no love of bloodshed and no use for a dagger, Landon isn't about to let Ray take his only link to his forgotten history, even if that means following the cambion past the edge of the world and into the shadow beyond.
