In an alternate universe, Hiccup and Astrid are living in a time of Kingdoms. Astrid's family is the royals of the Kingdom of Berk. Hiccup's father is the head of the Royal Guard. Hiccup grew up in the castle in the guards quarters, with the servants and was trained as a guard.
Hiccup and Astrid have been friends their whole lives. They were now 19 years old and Hiccup and Astrid have feelings they haven't told each other about.
Astrid's father wants her to find a suitor for when she turns twenty. But when love buds between Hiccup and Astrid, they have to hide their relationship. Will they be able to be together? or be punished for their love?

However the chief's wife, Valka, believed peace was possible between the Vikings and Dragons but no one believed her. During a terrible raid, she was taken by a dragon that showed signs of kindness. However she wasn't the only one taken since she grabbed her infant, Hiccup Haddock the Third, to keep him away from a fire started by the dragon who was startled by her husband. Over the years, the boy grew up hating dragons and counted down the days until he could join the warriors in battle, defending his village and avenging his brother and mother. However his father always kept him inside the forge during raids in fear of losing the only family he had left. There, the boy became a bit of an inventor as well as a decent blacksmith. However all of that changed when one night, using one of his inventions, he shot down the most dangerous and mysterious dragon in the entire Archipelago.
