Forsaken: The Chosen Trilogy - Book One
Before you begin this story, I must warn you first. This is not a tale of dashing knights and lovely damsels awaiting rescue. It is not the tale of happy endings, with birdsong and rides into the sunset. It is a tale of light magic and dark, of dragons and monsters, of heroes and villains and the thin line between them. This is the tale of being broken, being made stronger, and then being broken again. This is a story of love of heartbreak so great if feels like your chest has been hollowed out and scraped clean, like you would never feel anything else ever again, and of love so powerful it can make even the gods tremble. This is not a happy story, but it is our story, and it is the only one I know how to tell. ********************** FORSAKEN is the first tale in the Saga of Darkness, following six brothers and sisters who have been named the Chosen of the Gods, destined to fight a great darkness that threatens their world. "Save the world, and join the fight, or else the entire world will die tonight. Take up arms, protect your neck, or else it'll be you who is another body in the wreck." - - All that the five friends wanted to do was explore their old school in the dead of night, avoid being arrested if they were found, and find any and all secrets possible. That does not all go to plan however, for two of them find a mysterious, glowing orb in the girls bathroom that turns out to be a portal. Now, they are all thrown into this mess, with new names and their true identities coming forth, along with their secrets. An enemy is lurking in the darkness, shadowing themselves with other villainous characters the five meet along their way. They all must learn to trust each other, learn to accept loss, discover the truth behind established relationships, and Mae must gather to courage to fight a secret enemy that has been inside of her for 14 years. - - - Publishing began June 20th Cover art was wonderfully made by @ sevrot on Instagram I do not claim certain worlds, backstories, or characters featured in this novel! Many are owned by CatFace Studios, NixHydra, Nintendo, etc. However, this is an original story with non-original characters thrown in for their individual purpose. I would not call this a fanfic, but if that is what you see it as, go ahead. I simply need familiar faces to tell a story close to my heart. Started writing in late 2017.Complete
The Art of Courts and Lies (Book 1 in The Gifted Trilogy)
Ice flooded my veins as the realization of who he was hit me. It must have been evident on my face because the man in front of me let out a dark laugh. "Oh dear, you didn't realize you were talking to a royal, did you darling?" he crooned. Not just any royal. Kesserian Cinis. The recently coronated king and ruler over the Ember Court. I forgot how to breathe, my mind whirring as it tried to figure out how I could have been so stupid as to let this happen. *************************************************** Wren Heatherfield is on the run. Having turned 18, she is now in danger of becoming selected for the Garner, a deadly game in which the six kings who rule over her continent take eighteen non-magical girls and make them fight for their lives. But as she tries to avoid the game by running away with her best friend and her sister, she consequently finds herself doomed to be a competitor in the 246th Garner. But the Garner isn't the only thing capable of killing her. In a castle surrounded by kings with dark powers and girls fighting for their lives, she may find that the politics of royalty can be just as deadly as their games. No one can be trusted in a palace full of monsters and, if Wren has any hopes of survival, she may have to become one herself.Complete

Heroism for Dummies - Rewriting and Fleshing Out
Rafe Daring is not a hero known for his bravery. He is a farm boy known for being stubborn, cheeky, and doing things haphazardly, which always leads to chaos. When he flees town on his motorcycle, chased by the boy he'd turned into his nemesis, Rafe veers from safety to avoid his enemy. He ventures onto a strangled path through the forbidden forest, a vast stretch of access-restricted nature reserve bordering his family's farm. As with most of his decisions, this one also leads to disaster. Soon, Rafe finds himself injured and lost at the bottom of a steep slope, trying to find his way home. When he stumbles into a briar vine-covered wall, he decides that his only way home might be through what appears to be an archway clogged by vines. However, he is unprepared for what waits for him when he breaks through the thick, thorny briar vines. Finding himself in an increasingly dangerous and confusing situation, he realises that this time, he'd outdone himself in the art of making extraordinarily bad decisions. He has one question that stands out above all his other questions: "Who would be dumb enough to give an idiot like me superpowers?!"
